The proposal passed by nearly 63 percent of Lansing voters and is part of a growing trend in Michigan where cities are decriminalizing the personal use of small amounts of marijuana.

Janitor arrested in Michigan school theft cases

He was in custody as of Nov. 6 on $10,000 bond, for allegedly stealing $80,000 worth of a/v equipment and electronic tablets from two schools. Investigators credited the electronic reporting system that pawn shops use with leading them to the suspect.
